BCA Part II

It's been 149 days since we started BCA (if you don't know what BCA is, please read my previous blog post), and we've been to 97 unique eateries. There isn't really a reason behind why I started saving the locations besides the fact that we like discovering good restaurants/cafes, so I just wanted to keep track of the places I've been to.

Here are my top five (in no particular order).

Water + Leaves, Monterey
Monterey was the first place we went to for our BCA. I never went to Monterey before, and Kye said he had really good cookies at a cute cafe that he knew I would like. They didn't have the cookies, but we sat at the balcony area and just talked for a couple of hours for the first time.

The Breakfast Club at Midtown, San Jose
Eggs benedicts are my favorite breakfast food, and this is my favorite eggs benedict place in San Jose.

Cracked & Battered, San Francisco
I ordered an eggs benedict, but they gave me chicken and waffles. And I was pleasantly surprised! Also, Cracked & Battered holds a special place in my heart because it was the first account that shared my photo on their Instagram grid.

Sweet Gelato Tea Lounge, San Jose
We used to go here every Tuesday evening for awhile, we would talk for hours about whatever was on our minds. We developed a lot of our ideas for AllHale here, and it's still one of our favorite boba spots!

Scratch Cookery, San Jose
We got chicken sandwiches instead of going to a talk we bought tickets for a month in advance. It was a spontaneous decision, but we have no regrets because it was SO good! It's too bad that they are a food truck, and only open for 2-3 hours for the days they do open. But it didn't stop us from going again because we took our friends there following week.
